Project Description

A one year national research study to identify evolving needs and opportunities for the design of educational institutions.
An in depth research program involving secondary research, ethnographic studies and data analytics across multiple academic institutions in the US. The research identified multiple key lenses and drivers for innovation such as brand identity & institutional culture, core space, wellness, temples of knowledge & community, planning & way finding, gathering & social support, power & technology, transitional & unowned space. These lenses were then synthesized to define brand, business and design opportunity for KI and a foundation for marketing strategies and communications.
Through additional focused studies StudioFYNN also developed a framework to elevate student engagement and evaluate the results through A/B testing and data analytics.
